About The Position

The Activity Bus Driver is responsible for safely transporting students to and from extracurricular activities, the airport, and various destinations. This position requires availability for weekend and overnight trips and will operate various vehicles, including but not limited to Charter Buses, Activity Buses, Mini Buses, and Vans. The driver will also pick up food boxes from the dining hall, fuel, and maintain the cleanliness of the Motor Pool vehicles.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years old.
• High School Diploma/HSE.
• One to three years of experience.
• Valid Indiana driver's license.
• Fundamental computer skills.
• Class B CDL.
• Passenger and Air Brake Endorsement from the Bureau of Motor Vehicles.
• School Bus Endorsement from the Department of Education.
• Ability to interact well with high school students and internal and external adults.
• Patience when waiting for passengers, dealing with students, and driving in heavy and congested traffic.
