About The Position

The CDL Driver / Bus Deployment Driver transports, deploys, stages, picks up, and returns bloodmobiles and mobile collection vehicles in support of mobile blood drive operations. The role focuses on vehicle movement, logistics support, and operational readiness of mobile collection assets, rather than donor-facing collection functions. Drivers ensure buses are properly staged, supplied, fueled, and returned according to operational standards, and maximize productive driving time throughout the workday. Drivers generally do not remain onsite during blood drive operating hours unless specifically directed by management. The position operates within a two-bus daily model. Assignments may include deploying or returning two to three buses, or deploying one bus in the morning and returning another in the afternoon. Drivers on split AM/PM schedules return to the garage after morning deployment, clock out after those assignments, and return later for afternoon pickups.
