About The Position

Safety-Kleen, a subsidiary of Clean Harbors, is hiring a CDL B Sales and Service Route Driver in Tucson, Arizona. The role trains the driver to operate a Class B box truck and provide onsite service to parts washer machines, pick up containerized hazardous waste, and sell products and services on a defined route. Drivers may visit 10–12 customer sites per day, serving automotive repair, fleet, and manufacturing businesses.

Requirements

Class B CDL.
Obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days of employment.
Basic computer and math skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Strong customer service skills.
Ability to perform physical functions required by the job.
Successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical, as applicable to the position.
For positions requiring respirators, meet facial hair standards under OSHA's Respiratory Protection standard, 29 CFR 1910.134.

Nice To Haves

Commercial route driving experience (Class C or Non-CDL).
Strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Comply with safe work practices, policies, and processes, and prioritize health and safety.
Visit customer sites, potentially serving 10–12 locations per day.
Switch out 15- and 30-gallon drums of solutions.
Service parts washer machines and clean sediment from sinks.
Upsell at customer locations and generate new leads in the field.
Complete scheduled services, deliveries, and pickups in a timely manner.
Follow local, state, provincial, and federal compliance regulations and rules.
Operate vehicles safely in accordance with U.S. DOT and applicable local, state, provincial, and federal requirements.
Follow company environmental health and safety operating guidelines.
Perform other duties as assigned.
