About The Position

Iron Mountain is seeking an experienced CDL B Local Route Driver to join its Operations team. The role involves safely operating a commercial vehicle to provide secure, on-time delivery and pickup of confidential business files while meeting physical handling requirements. The driver operates an automatic 20–26-foot box truck and completes an average of 15 or more stops per day. The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. until route completion, at the Charlotte, North Carolina location.

Requirements

At least 1 year of professional route-driving experience using a CDL B license.
Valid CDL B driver’s license.
At least 21 years old.
Good driving record.
Strong knowledge of commercial vehicle operation, DOT regulations, and local-area routes.
Ability to follow safe driving practices.
Ability to lift, pull, and push items weighing 50–70 pounds.
Ability to provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

Drive an automatic 20–26-foot box truck and complete an average of 15 or more daily stops to deliver and pick up confidential documents, ensuring timely and accurate service.
Work with dispatchers and operations teams to manage routes, resolve unforeseen issues, and maintain high customer-service standards.
Maintain a good driving record and complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Follow local labor laws and Iron Mountain’s safety and regulatory standards, especially when handling confidential materials.
Safely lift, pull, and push items weighing 50–70 pounds.
