About The Position

Curtis Lumber is hiring experienced, hard-working CDL B Drivers to make local deliveries of building materials to customers’ homes and job sites. Drivers are responsible for delivering orders professionally, verifying order accuracy, maintaining delivery trucks, staging loads efficiently, and safely loading and unloading building materials. The role involves using material-handling equipment and following safe handling practices. Drivers are home every night. This is a full-time position of 40 or more hours per week, with overtime after 40 hours. Pay is $25–$27 per hour, depending on experience, with annual performance-based raises. Pay is issued weekly on Fridays.

Requirements

• Must hold a valid CDL B license; a valid REAL ID or Enhanced CDL License is also specified.
• Must be at least 21 years of age to drive for Curtis Lumber.
• Must have a clean motor vehicle record (MVR).
• Must have recent driving experience.
• Must have forklift experience.
• Must be able to regularly lift up to 80 pounds.
• Must wear personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Building-material product knowledge is a plus.
