About The Position

This role involves safely operating vehicles to move chassis between locations, delivering and picking up customer vehicles, and accurately documenting product and material movements. The driver will also assist with loading and unloading vendor trucks, adhere to all company safety regulations, and weigh completed units to ensure compliance with standards.

Requirements

Maintain a clean & safe workplace.
Hold a current Class B license with endorsements and maintain an excellent driving record.
Willingness to work overtime, including Saturdays, as production demands.
Able to work rotating shifts when required.
Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in group settings.
Actively engage in and support Poindexter Production System (PPS), 5S, Lean, TPM, and other continuous improvement initiatives.
Regularly use fingers, hands, and arms to carefully handle, feel, and manipulate materials.
Spend much of your time standing and walking, with occasional sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, and crouching.
Clear and sharp hearing-including two-way radio communication-is essential.
Vision skills are critical-requiring close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to quickly adjust focus.

Responsibilities

Safely operate various powered vehicles on and off-road to move chassis between locations.
Deliver and pick up customer vehicles efficiently.
Document product and material movements accurately.
Assist with loading and unloading vendor trucks as needed.
Follow all company safety regulations and support training and awareness of safety practices for new team members.
Accurately weigh completed units to ensure compliance with standards.
