CDL B Delivery Driver - $1,500 Sign-On Bonus!
About The Position
CDL B Drivers safely operate automatic-transmission straight trucks and box trucks to deliver pre-sold products to customer accounts. Each route is supported by a Delivery Helper who assists with unloading. The role helps maintain safe, efficient, and professional delivery service while upholding product quality standards. The position is full-time, hourly, and non-exempt. The listed schedule is Monday through Friday, with start times around 5:15–5:45 AM and end times varying according to route and workload. The pay range is $28.00–$36.00 per hour. A $1,500 sign-on bonus is paid in installments: $750 at day 90 and $750 at day 180.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 21 years of age, as required to transport alcohol.
- Active CDL Class B license in good standing.
- At least 1 year of experience operating CDL B trucks.
- Strong safety-oriented mindset and adherence to safe driving practices.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Availability to work Monday through Friday, starting at 5:45 AM, with end times varying between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM depending on route and delivery volume.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills when interacting with clients and team members.
Responsibilities
- Operate company vehicles safely and in compliance with traffic laws and regulations.
- Deliver pre-sold products accurately and efficiently to customer accounts.
- Rotate stock and place products appropriately in dry and refrigerated storage areas.
- Ensure pallets loaded onto the truck are secure and stable for transport.
- Collect empty containers and returns as required by the supplier.
- Load and return dunnage, pallets, and load bars to the supplier.
- Maintain a courteous, professional, and respectful attitude toward customers and team members.
- Complete the Daily Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR) to report maintenance or repair needs.
