About The Position

McDonald's largest distributer worldwide is seeking a CDL A Yard Jockey for on-site yard work only. This role does not involve route driving. The position offers a set schedule of Sunday-Wednesday, 4:00pm-4:00am, with 3 consecutive days off weekly. Employees receive 3 weeks of paid time off (PTO) within their first year and are paid weekly. A comprehensive benefits package is included.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must have a valid Class A driver’s license.
• 0 to 1 plus years of specific driving experience.
• Must be able to lift products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 170 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED).

Responsibilities

• Maneuvers and backs trailers into loading docks, opens bay doors, prepares trailers, and assists in loading/unloading product.
• Maneuvers trailers into parking slips to ensure there is no traffic backup in the yard.
• Follows all safety protocols, including performing safety checks to secure trailers and operating all equipment in a safe and professional manner.
• Uses other warehouse equipment to help load products into trailers.
• Performs preventative maintenance on equipment, tools, and machinery to ensure they are clean and in good working condition.
• Other duties as assigned.
