CDL-A truck drivers earn $1,350 to $1,550 per week running regional no-touch dry van freight with weekly home time. This CDL-A truck driver position is built for drivers who want consistent freight, dependable weekly pay, and a schedule that gets them home every week. Drivers operate late-model Peterbilt 579 trucks averaging about 1.5 years old. Trucks include Sirius XM, TV mounts, inverters, 72-inch high roofs, dual drive tires, and Espar bunk heaters. Trucks are governed at 70 MPH. Orientation is held in Birmingham, Alabama and lasts four days, Monday through Thursday. Travel is provided by rental car or flight, with lodging and meals covered. Drivers receive orientation pay, and the goal is to make the transition into the truck simple and organized. Drivers are matched with a driver manager based on communication style and personality fit. This helps create a better working relationship from the start and gives drivers a clear point of contact once they are on the road.
