About The Position
Universal Logistics is seeking a CDL A Truck Driver for intermodal services in Houston. This role involves drayage to and from Ports, Rails, and Customer Facilities, operating from 40 terminals and eight container yards. The company provides Chassis, Containers, Drayage, and Services for Imports, Exports, and Domestic moves. This is a Monday-Friday position with home daily, 50-60 hour work weeks, and offers opportunities for growth within a dynamic team.
Requirements
- Class A CDL
- TWIC Card
- 6 months of Tractor Trailer experience
- 21 years of age
Responsibilities
- Provide intermodal services for all major US Ports and intermodal Rail Ramps.
- Perform domestic door-to-door drayage to and from Ports, Rails, and Customer Facilities.
- Transport containers from the Houston port/rail to Dallas, Austin, Laredo, and other areas.
- Ensure all routes are round trips with no waiting for return trips.
