American Trucking Group is hiring CDL A Truck Drivers for Regional, Super Regional, and OTR routes. Drivers can choose the route type and balance of miles and home time that works best for them. Weekly earnings range from $1,200 to $1,500, depending on route type and miles driven. Regional drivers earn $1,200 per week and average 2,500–2,600 miles; Super Regional drivers earn $1,300–$1,400 per week and average 2,600–2,800 miles; and OTR drivers earn $1,500 per week and average 3,000 miles. Schedules provide planned home time: Regional drivers are out 7–9 days and receive one day at home for every seven days out; Super Regional drivers are out 14 days and home for two days; and OTR drivers are out three weeks and home for three days. Drivers choose where to take their home time. Drivers operate an automatic Kenworth T680 equipped with Smart Idle, a bunk heater, double bunk, and a 1,500-watt inverter. Trucks are serviced every six months. Most freight is 85–90% drop-and-hook; an electric floor jack is provided for loads requiring unloading, and drivers are paid for that work. The company has 30 terminals nationwide. Fifteen terminals have gyms, truck washes, and laundry facilities. Benefits include United Healthcare coverage after 60 days and a Fidelity 401(k) with company match after 90 days. Additional pay includes detention pay of $16 per hour after two hours, layover pay of $125 per day after 48 hours, holiday pay of $60 per day, and optional Hazmat pay. New hires attend a three-day orientation in Joplin, Missouri; Dallas, Texas; or Atlanta, Georgia. Travel is covered through a rental car or Greyhound, with Uber to the hotel if needed.
