About The Position

American Trucking Group is hiring CDL A Truck Drivers for Regional, Super Regional, and OTR routes. Drivers earn weekly pay based on route type: Regional drivers earn $1,200 while averaging 2,500–2,600 miles; Super Regional drivers earn $1,300–$1,400 while averaging 2,600–2,800 miles; and OTR drivers earn $1,500 while averaging 3,000 miles.

Schedules offer varying home-time arrangements. Regional drivers are out 7–9 days and receive 1 day at home for every 7 days out. Super Regional drivers are out 14 days and home for 2 days. OTR drivers are out 3 weeks and home for 3 days. Drivers may choose where to take their home time.

Drivers operate automatic Kenworth T680 trucks equipped with Smart Idle, a bunk heater, double bunk, and a 1500-watt inverter. Trucks are serviced every 6 months. Most freight is 85–90% drop and hook. For loads requiring unloading, the company provides an electric floor jack and pays drivers for the work.

The company has 30 terminals nationwide; 15 have gyms, truck washes, and laundry facilities. New hires attend a 3-day orientation in Joplin, Missouri; Dallas, Texas; or Atlanta, Georgia. Travel to orientation is covered by rental car or Greyhound, with an Uber to the hotel if needed.
