About The Position

Drive refrigerated freight from an Atlanta hub on a reefer fleet. Drivers haul and drop trailers without unloading them. Once driving solo, drivers typically cover 1,900 to 2,500 miles per week and are home every two weeks. New drivers are welcome and receive 4 to 6 weeks of training with a mentor. Training pays $650 per week; the first three months driving solo include a $1,000 weekly guarantee. Average weekly pay is $1,300 to $1,500, with a monthly bonus for meeting performance targets. Orientation lasts two days or less and pays $300. Lodging is covered, and bus fare to orientation is reimbursed. The fleet uses late-model Freightliners with automatic and 10-speed transmissions. Medical, dental, and vision coverage begins after 30 days. Pets and riders are allowed after training. The employer is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Requirements

Be at least 21 years old.
Hold a valid Class A CDL.
Have completed at least 120 hours of CDL school.
No prior driving experience is required for entry-level applicants.
Experienced applicants must have 6 months of experience in the last 12 months or 12 months in the last 5 years.
Military experience may be considered with a DD214.
Have no more than 2 moving violations in 2 years and no serious violations in 12 months.
Have no major preventable accidents in 5 years.
Have no DUI/DWI in the past 5 to 10 years.
Pass hair and urine drug tests.
Provide 3 years of verifiable work history.
