About The Position
CK Transportation is hiring Class A CDL drivers for a Heartland fleet running Midwest regional freight. Drivers average around 2,100 miles per week on shorter, repeat lanes that help create a predictable routine. Freight stays consistent, and dispatch works to keep drivers moving without unnecessary downtime. Drivers receive a minimum 34-hour reset every week, along with three weekends home per month. There is also a mid-week break built into the rotation. This structure works well for drivers who want regional miles while still having reliable, planned time at home.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Valid Class A CDL.
- 6 months of recent tractor-trailer experience OR 1 year of experience within the past 3 years.
- Experience must be on trailers 48 feet or longer.

Responsibilities
- Operate a Class A CDL truck on regional Midwest lanes.
- Transport dry van freight, primarily drop and hook.
- Adhere to a schedule that includes a weekly 34-hour reset and three weekends home per month.
- Participate in a mid-week break rotation.
- Maintain efficient and productive transitions during live load or unload situations.
- Operate 2016 or newer Freightliner Cascadia, International, and Kenworth tractors.
