About The Position

CK Transportation is hiring a CDL A driver for a regional truck driving position built around repeat freight instead of constantly changing assignments. Most trips move through Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania, New York, and nearby states, giving drivers familiarity with their lanes and helping reduce unexpected delays. Drivers normally start the week with outbound freight early and continue through planned reloads before working back toward home by the end of the week. Because dispatch plans loads ahead of time, drivers are not sitting and waiting between trips or losing hours to last-minute changes. Equipment in this fleet includes 2019 or newer Freightliner Cascadia tractors with automatic transmission, APUs, inverters, refrigerator space, and double bunk sleeper setups. Trucks are maintained on a regular service schedule to keep drivers running and minimize downtime.

Requirements

CDL A license
Regional truck driving experience
Ability to stay moving during the week and return home for a full reset on the weekend
Familiarity with Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania, New York, and nearby states
Understanding of dispatcher communication and weekly expectations

Responsibilities

Operate on consistent routes within established Midwest and Northeast freight lanes.
