About The Position

R+L Carriers is hiring Class A team drivers at its Janesville, Wisconsin Service Center. Drivers transport freight between service centers and/or turn-point locations, pulling van trailers up to 53 feet or double trailers. Teams are on the road for five days and home for two days each week. The posting advertises yearly earnings of $140,000–$160,000 per driver and one week of vacation after 90 days of employment.

Requirements

• CDL Class A.
• At least one year of combined verifiable Class A driving experience within the past three years.
• Good driving record/MVR and PSP, with no commercial serious violations and no more than three moving violations total within the past three years.
• At least 23 years of age, or 21 if the FMCSA specifications for transition from military to civilian CDL have been successfully met.
• Able to pass a pre-employment DOT physical and drug screen.
• Able to complete a successful road test.
• Able to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
• Dependable.

Nice To Haves

• Doubles/Triples, Tanker, and Haz-mat CDL endorsements.
• Experience hauling hazardous materials.
• Experience pulling doubles.
• LTL freight experience.

Responsibilities

• Transport freight between service centers and/or turn-point locations.
