About The Position

CK Transportation is hiring a CDL A driver for a regional position based in the Detroit area. This fleet runs repeat lanes instead of constantly shifting routes, allowing drivers to stay productive and build a routine they can count on from week to week. The run involves regional Northeast dry van freight on a Monday through Friday operation, with home time every weekend. Drivers typically leave early in the week and run through Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, and surrounding states before working back toward home by the end of the week. Loads are planned ahead of time, helping reduce downtime and keeping transitions between runs smooth. Drivers are assigned 2019 or newer Freightliner Cascadia tractors with automatic transmission, APUs, inverters, refrigerator space, and double bunk sleeper setups. Equipment is maintained on a regular service schedule to reduce breakdowns and keep drivers moving. Orientation lasts about two to three days, with hotel and meals provided, and orientation pay included with the first paycheck. CK Transportation operates regional and over-the-road fleets built around steady freight flow, dependable equipment, and direct communication so every Class A CDL driver can maintain a predictable schedule and consistent income.

Requirements

CDL A license
Ability to drive a consistent Midwest and Northeast route.
Ability to be home every weekend.
Ability to drive through Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, and surrounding states.
Eligibility for $1,200 weekly pay protection.
