About The Position
We are hiring Class A CDL Drivers for a dedicated intermodal account in Avenel, NJ. This is a local position with home daily schedules, no-touch freight, and container work. Drivers will transport intermodal containers from the Avenel area, performing local and regional container moves. This role utilizes day cabs and intermodal equipment, and drivers return home after each shift. There is no dispatch into NYC.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
- Clean and safe driving history
- Must meet DOT and company qualification requirements
- Must live within the hiring area of Avenel, NJ
Responsibilities
- Transport intermodal containers from the Avenel area
- Perform local and regional container moves
- No loading or unloading freight
