About The Position

We are seeking a reliable CDL-A Truck Driver for our Dry Van Fleet. This full-time position offers consistent miles, competitive pay, and predictable home time, with drivers typically out for 5 days and home for 2 days. The role involves 100% no-touch freight, with approximately 60% drop and hook. We offer an average of 1,800-2,200 miles per week with an average haul length of 600 miles. We do not force dispatch into NYC or the 5 boroughs.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• At least 6 months of recent Class A driving experience
• Must live in Lafayette or the immediate surrounding area

• Veterans with DD214 documentation may be eligible for an additional $0.01 CPM.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class A CDL vehicle.
• Transport dry van freight.
• Maintain an average of 1,800-2,200 miles per week.
• Complete 100% no-touch freight deliveries.
• Perform approximately 60% drop and hook operations.
• Adhere to home time schedule of 5 days out and 2 days home.
• Avoid forced dispatch into NYC or the 5 boroughs.

Benefits

• Average annual earnings: $74,000–$85,000
• Mandatory $0.16 per diem
• Additional $0.01 CPM for drivers willing to stay out 3+ weeks
• Maximum pay up to $0.66 CPM
• $250 onboarding bonus upon completion of orientation
• $250 additional onboarding bonus after first dispatched load
• Monthly performance bonus available during first 6 months
• Detention Pay: $15/hour after 2 hours (up to $80 per 24-hour period)
• Layover Pay: $75 per 24-hour period
• Breakdown Pay: $75 per 24-hour period plus motel expenses
• NYC Delivery Pay: $100 delivery / $60 pickup
