About The Position

McDonald's largest distributor worldwide is seeking an Entry Level Local CDL A Truck Driver for local routes. This position offers paid training starting at $30.58/hour, with component pay after training allowing for earnings up to $120,000/year. Drivers will benefit from weekly pay, touch-freight, an extra board schedule, and work within foodservice distribution. Trucks are preloaded, and deliveries are palletized. Sirius Radio is provided.

Requirements

• 0 to 1 plus years of specific driving experience.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must possess a valid Class A, B, or C Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent driving experience in the military.
• Must be able to lift products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 170 pounds.

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree.

Responsibilities

• Unloading and delivering products to customers.
• Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicle.
• Safely and professionally operating a commercial motor vehicle, including conveyors and carts.
• Securely operating powered industrial trucks and/or material handling equipment such as an electric pallet jack and/or hand truck.
• Picking up returned products, including payments and pallets.
• Completing delivery and pick up paperwork.
• Other duties as assigned.
