About The Position
We are hiring CDL-A drivers for a local grocery delivery account based out of Chester, NY. This position offers consistent freight, daily home time, and steady work delivering fresh and frozen groceries to supermarkets and distribution centers.
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A license
- Minimum 3 months of recent Class A tractor-trailer experience
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the terminal
Nice To Haves
- Completion of training with certified NYC trainers (for NYC routes)
- Experience with NYC routes
Responsibilities
- Deliver fresh and frozen groceries to supermarkets and distribution centers.
- Perform multi-stop deliveries (typically 15+ stops per week).
- Pick up return product at final stop (backhauls).
- Maintain professional customer interactions at delivery locations.
- Occasionally use a pallet jack to assist with deliveries.
