About The Position

This position is for a CDL-A Truck Driver in the Dry Van No Touch fleet, based out of the Lake County area. Drivers will experience Over-The-Road (OTR) driving without covering all 48 states. The average load is approximately 500 miles, ensuring drivers are typically within about 2 days of home. New CDL-A holders are welcome, and comprehensive training is provided. The role involves OTR lanes through the middle of the country, with drop and hook and live freight. Drivers are typically out for two weeks at a time before returning home. Several terminals are available in the area. The company offers a clear path from CDL school to driving your own truck, with dedicated support for new drivers.

Requirements

• Class A CDL.
• At least 21 years old.
• New drivers need at least 120 hours from a CDL school.
• Alternatively, 6 months of recent experience.
• Up to 2 moving violations in the last 2 years accepted.
• No DUI/DWI in the last 10 years.
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Pass a hair and urine drug test.

• Trainees can bring a dog once training is finished.

Responsibilities

• Drive OTR lanes through the middle of the country.
• Perform drop and hook and handle live freight.
• Complete assigned routes and ensure timely deliveries.
• Adhere to all DOT regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate logs and trip planning.
• Fuel the truck and perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
