About The Position

This position is built for new Class A drivers in eastern North Carolina. It offers paid training, guaranteed weekly pay once you go solo, and freight that stays east. Drivers can expect to be home every two weeks, with weekly mileage between 1,900 to 2,300. The freight is dry van, with a mix of drop and hook and live stops, primarily in eastern zones, rarely west of the Mississippi.

Requirements

• Class A CDL
• Age 21+
• 120+ training hours from an accredited school, or verifiable OTR time (6 months in the last 12, or 12 months in the last 5 years)
• Max 2 moving violations in 2 years
• No major preventable accidents in 5 years
• No DUI/DWI in 5 to 10 years
• Pass DOT physical, hair and urine test
• Live within 200 miles of Richmond, VA

• Experienced drivers may bring riders and pets on day one.

Responsibilities

• Drive dry van freight, including drop and hook and live stops.
• Operate within eastern zones, rarely traveling west of the Mississippi.
• Maintain a safe driving record.
• Adhere to DOT regulations.
• Complete assigned routes and deliveries.
• Participate in training programs.
• Be available for dispatch.
