About The Position
HireNow Staffing is actively recruiting multiple seasoned, highly skilled CDL A Team Drivers to join one of our valued client partners. HireNow Staffing is acting as a direct placement partner for this dedicated refrigerated freight transportation opportunity. This position requires dependable team drivers with strong long-haul experience, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to maintain delivery consistency across multi-state dedicated routes involving refrigerated freight operations.
Requirements
- Valid CDL A license
- Proven team driving and long-haul experience
- Ability to remain on the road with home time every two weeks
- Comfortable operating sleeper cab equipment across cross-country routes
- Strong time management and route planning skills
- Stable and consistent employment history
- Must reside within 100 miles of Gilroy, CA or Colton, CA
- Authorized to work in the United States
Nice To Haves
- Experience operating refrigerated freight equipment preferred
- Prior dedicated account or reefer freight experience
- Experience with live load/unload operations
- Familiarity with multi-state delivery routes
- Clean driving record with strong inspection history
- Experience utilizing electronic logging devices (ELDs)
- Strong communication and teamwork capabilities
Responsibilities
- Operate CDL A sleeper trucks across dedicated multi-state refrigerated freight routes
- Transport no-touch refrigerated freight while maintaining delivery timelines and cargo integrity
- Complete live load and unload schedules efficiently and professionally
- Execute dedicated route runs originating from Gilroy, CA with deliveries to IL, MI, OH, NJ, MA, GA, and FL
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure DOT compliance and equipment safety
- Maintain accurate ELD logs, mileage reporting, and required transportation documentation
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and logistics teams regarding route updates, delays, or operational concerns
- Work collaboratively within a team-driving structure to maximize efficiency and safety performance
- Maintain professionalism and compliance with all federal transportation regulations and company safety standards
