About The Position
Earn approximately $79,976 annually while delivering retail freight on consistent local routes. This dedicated position offers daily home time, automatic trucks, and mostly drop-and-hook freight. Deliver retail freight on local routes in the Chicago area. The longest round trip is approximately 91 miles. Drivers will complete a minimum of two loads per day. Approximately 95% of the freight is drop-and-hook, and approximately 5% of deliveries require pallet-jack unloading. Pallet-jack unloading is paid.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 3 months of truck driving experience
- Reliable transportation for daily commuting
- Ability to work a six-day schedule and night shifts
- Ability to perform occasional pallet-jack unloading
- No SAP drivers.
- Clean driving record
- DOT Medical card
