About The Position
Join a local retail freight account with average annual earnings of $78,000+, home daily, activity-based pay, and a weekly safety bonus opportunity. This role involves starting in the Boston area with an empty trailer, running routes in reverse to Wilton, NY to pick up a loaded trailer, and returning to the Boston area for deliveries. Drivers will operate late-model Freightliner day cabs and dry van trailers.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 9 months of tractor-trailer experience within the past 3 years
- Must be at least 22 years old
- No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years, subject to restrictions
- No more than 1 DOT-recordable preventable accident in the past 3 years
- Must create a profile with the DOT Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse before hire
- Must be able to read and speak English sufficiently to communicate with the public, understand traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and complete required reports and records
- Must meet applicable DOT requirements
