CDL-A Southeast Regional Driver
About The Position
American Trucking Group is hiring CDL-A drivers for established Southeast freight lanes, with regional, over-the-road, and team driving opportunities. Drivers haul dry van freight that is 100% no-touch and mostly drop-and-hook, with route planning intended to support consistent freight movement and reduce delays at customer locations. Regional drivers typically stay out 5–7 days before returning home weekly. Over-the-road drivers stay out for four weeks followed by four days at home. Team drivers run 4,500–5,000 miles per week. Multiple home-time options are available. Drivers earn $1,475–$1,600 per week through direct deposit. Compensation also includes layover pay of $12 per hour after the first hour, $15 per stop, and annual safety bonuses. Drivers operate assigned International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, or Kenworth trucks with 10-speed manual transmissions, 1,500-watt inverters, and Opti-idle systems. Take-home trucks are available with approved secure parking, and there is no slip seating. The company provides health, dental, vision, and life insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, and paid time off. Additional offerings include EZ Pass and toll cards, fuel cards through Comm Data, 24/7 dispatch support, and a rider program available after 30 days subject to seasonal guidelines.
