About The Position

Universal Logistics is seeking experienced Class A CDL drivers to join their team in Salt Lake City, UT. This role involves operating heavy or tractor-trailer trucks for Universal Intermodal services, which handles major US Ports and intermodal Rail Ramps, offering domestic door-to-door drayage. The company provides chassis, containers, drayage, and services for imports, exports, and domestic moves, operating from forty terminals and eight container yards. They are looking for reliable, safety-conscious drivers for a full-time position.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of recent tractor-trailer experience
• Clean driving record: No more than two moving violations in the past 3 years
• Tractor-trailer: 1 year (Required)

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy or tractor-trailer trucks
• Accurately maintain activity logs
• Report issues or incidents to dispatch promptly
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections
