About The Position
Sysco is hiring dependable CDL A Shuttle Delivery Truck Drivers to safely and efficiently operate a tractor-trailer and transport doubles, and potentially triples, between a Sysco facility and shuttle yards. On an as-needed basis, drivers may also unload and deliver products to customer locations on an assigned route schedule. Drivers are home daily.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Pass employment testing.
- Be able to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records.
- Hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver license and have a driving record that meets company insurability standards.
- Be able to handle touch freight, including lifting, pushing, or moving products weighing an average of 40–60 pounds and occasionally as much as 100 pounds.
