About The Position

A. Duie Pyle is hiring an experienced, motivated, full-time CDL-A Night Shuttle Driver in Johnston, Rhode Island. The driver operates a day cab tractor pulling a 53-foot trailer to other Pyle terminals and completes overnight trips between Pyle locations. The role is home daily and follows a Monday–Friday overnight schedule. Pay is $36.65 per hour, with weekly direct deposit every Friday and overtime after 40 hours. A. Requirements

Hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
Have a Hazmat endorsement before starting.
Have a Tanker endorsement before starting or be willing to obtain it within 90 days.
Have at least 1 year of recent tractor-trailer experience.
Currently hold or obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card.
Be at least 21 years old.
Have no more than three moving violations and/or accidents within the last three years, subject to review.
Communicate effectively and be able to read, write, and speak English.
Be able to obtain and maintain TSA security clearance.

Responsibilities

Drive a day cab tractor pulling a 53-foot trailer to other Pyle terminals.
Complete overnight trips between various Pyle locations.
Ensure the security and safety of the tractor and freight while following FMCSA safety regulations and guidelines.
Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
