About The Position

We are hiring semi-local CDL A drivers for our Thursday to Monday night shift. Drivers on this account have averaged $2,019 a week, about $105,000 a year, running no touch store freight out of Central New Jersey. The role involves picking up loaded dry van or reefer trailers at customer distribution centers and delivering to retail stores across NJ, NY, CT, MA, NH and VT. There are no New York City deliveries. Drivers will also handle third party backhauls on the way back, sometimes live load, and intermodal or nearby account support when volume is low. The work starts and ends at our East Brunswick yard. This position offers a set work schedule of Thursday to Monday, with Tuesday and Wednesday off, and onsite management with tenured leadership.

Requirements

At least 21 years old with a valid Class A CDL.
3 months verifiable tractor-trailer experience in the last 6 months with one carrier, 6 months in the last 12 months, or 12 months in the last 5 years.
Reliable transportation to the yard, onboarding and training.
No more than 2 moving violations and no careless or reckless driving in the last 3 years.
No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years and no major preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
Must pass hair and urine drug testing.

Responsibilities
