About The Position
Drive dedicated regional freight for Walmart, originating from distribution centers in Colton, Fontana, and Riverside, California. The delivery territory includes California, Nevada—including Reno and Las Vegas—and Arizona. Drivers average approximately 1,175 miles per week and typically complete two trips per day, returning with backhauls to distribution centers. Freight includes dry van and refrigerated loads. Drivers use newer, well-maintained sleeper tractors with automatic transmissions. The position offers weekly home time with a 34-hour reset at home. Average weekly pay is $1,750, with top weekly pay of $2,260. Average annual pay is $90,760, and top annualized pay is $117,525. The operation runs 24/7, including weekends and holidays. Drivers generally work up to a 70-hour workweek before their reset.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- Minimum of 3 years of driving experience.
- Clean driving record.
- Valid DOT Medical Card.
- No SAP drivers.
- Ability to operate sleeper tractors and work regional routes.
- Availability for a schedule that includes weekends and holidays.
