About The Position

Drive dedicated retail freight throughout the Midwest from the Plainfield, Indiana (Indianapolis-area) operation. The role involves dry van freight, 100% no-touch loads, multiple stops, deliveries to malls and retail locations, and some double drop-and-hook operations. Routes cover Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Missouri, Wisconsin, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Michigan, including the Indianapolis and Gary operating areas. Drivers are typically out Sunday and home Friday for a weekly 34-hour reset. The schedule is a six-day workweek with day and night operations and some night driving. Thanksgiving and Christmas are off; drivers typically work other holidays. Pay is $247 guaranteed per working day, with approximately $1,400–$1,500 average weekly pay. Guaranteed pay applies while working; no bonus is offered.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL.
• First-seat or experienced driver; trainees are also accepted.
• Comfort with multiple stops and tough backing.
• Willingness to drive at night.
• Clean driving record.
• DOT Medical Card.
• Drivers with SAP are not accepted.
