CDL-A Regional Driver –Mon–Sat Shift +Reimbursed Endorsements
About The Position
Regional intermodal driving position based at terminals in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area. Drivers haul no-touch container freight on chassis using drop-and-hook operations through central and western Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, and western New York. Drivers average approximately 2,100 miles per week when managing their hours efficiently. Pay combines mileage pay and stop pay. Home time is weekly for a 34-hour reset, usually on weekends and sometimes during the week. Schedules are Sunday–Friday or Monday–Saturday. Drivers must have a safe, legal place at home to park the truck and container; limited bobtail parking may be available for drivers living near the port.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- At least 6 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
- Clean driving record.
- Valid DOT Medical Card.
- TWIC card required to hire; applicants may start the application process after applying for the card.
- Obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 30 days.
- Have a safe and legal place to park the truck and container at home.
- Drivers with SAP status are not eligible.
