About The Position

ICL Pennsylvania is hiring a CDL-A Regional Intermodal Driver for container freight out of terminals in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area. Drivers operate in central and western Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, and western New York, hauling containers on chassis in a no-touch, drop-and-hook operation. Drivers average approximately 2,100 miles per week when managing their hours efficiently. Pay consists of mileage pay plus stop pay. Average weekly pay is $1,900, with top weekly pay of $2,300. Average annualized pay is $95,898, with top annualized pay of $118,117. A $1,000 holiday start bonus is offered. Drivers are home weekly for a 34-hour reset, usually on weekends and sometimes during the week. Schedules are Sunday–Friday or Monday–Saturday to help maximize mileage. Drivers must have a safe, legal place to park the truck and container at home; limited bobtail parking may be available for drivers living near the port.

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL.
At least 6 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
Clean driving record.
Valid DOT Medical Card.
No SAP drivers.
TWIC card required to hire; applicants may start the card application process after applying.
Obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 30 days.
Have a safe and legal parking location at home for the truck and container.

Responsibilities

Haul no-touch container freight on chassis in a drop-and-hook operation.
Drive regional routes in central and western Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, and western New York.
Manage driving hours efficiently to support approximately 2,100 miles per week.
