Local Class A CDL Driver

Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Current DOT medical card
- Excellent driving record
- Solid knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Experience securing different types of cargo, including oversized loads
- The strength to chain, tarp, and secure heavy loads in any weather
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
- Accountability, integrity, and a safety-first mindset
Nice To Haves
- 2 or more years of driving experience
- 1 or more years of flatbed experience
Responsibilities
- Safely run a tractor and flatbed trailer on regional routes, delivering steel, including oversized and unusual loads
- Chain, strap, and tarp every load, and do it right the first time
- Check in and out with your supervisor each day for assignments
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and keep your equipment in top shape
- Keep accurate HOS logs, DVIRs, proof of delivery, and fuel receipts
- Stay in contact with your supervisor, our sales team, and customers
- Report any incidents or safety concerns right away
