About The Position
Feldspar Trucking, a division of Trimac, is a family-run trucking company specializing in hauling bulk commodities. This role offers the opportunity to join their team in North Carolina and be part of this enduring legacy. They are offering a new pay package, competitive weekly and annual earnings, accessorial pay, CPM increases based on years of service, and paid orientation and training. A $2,000 sign-on bonus is available for qualified drivers. The schedule is Monday through Friday with weekly overnight travel, ensuring steady freight and a reliable workload, allowing drivers to enjoy weekends at home.
Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
- Ability to successfully pass Trimac safety assessment
- Previous mountain driving experience required
- Previous winter driving experience required
- Past 7 years without: Driving violation involving the consumption of illegal or intoxicating substances
- Past 7 years without: A preventable rollover or fatality crash
- Past 3 years without: License suspensions involving drug and/or alcohol, or a record that would indicate a disregard for public safety
- Past 3 years without: A major preventable accident
- Past 3 years without: Two or more moving convictions
Responsibilities
- Haul dry bulk commodities including Sand, Limestone, Feldspar, and Gypsum
- Pick up loads throughout NC, TN, and surrounding areas
- Deliver to customers across TN, GA, SC, and NC
- Maintain consistent regional freight with established customer lanes
