About The Position

Trimac is hiring professional CDL-A drivers to transport chemicals and other bulk goods on regional Western lanes. Drivers primarily operate in California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Washington, and Colorado, serving long-term customers with steady miles and reliable loads. The role offers a weekly minimum guarantee of $1,800, with drivers able to earn up to $2,100 per week based on loads and productivity.

Drivers start between 3:00 AM and 7:00 AM and are typically out for 5–7 days, depending on loads. Typical shifts are 12–14 hours per day, totaling 60–70 hours per week. Trimac emphasizes safety, provides paid orientation training, and describes opportunities for advancement, skills development, and additional certifications or licenses.

Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
• At least 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
• Tanker and hazmat endorsements.
• TWIC Card.
• No driving violation involving the consumption of illegal or intoxicating substances in the past 7 years.
• No preventable rollover or fatality crash in the past 7 years.
• No license suspensions involving drugs or alcohol, or record indicating disregard for public safety, in the past 3 years.
• No major preventable accident in the past 3 years.
• Fewer than two moving convictions in the past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Drive a tractor-trailer to transport chemicals and other bulk goods on regional Western lanes.
• Operate primarily in California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Washington, and Colorado.
• Follow the assigned schedule and routes, with trips typically lasting 5–7 days depending on loads.
