About The Position

Trimac is hiring a regional CDL-A driver to transport chemicals and other bulk products. Drivers run regular routes between Hayward, Los Angeles, Reno, Las Vegas, and Phoenix, with additional loads throughout Oregon and Washington. The role offers a weekly minimum guarantee of $1,800 for regional and over-the-road drivers, with potential earnings of $2,100 per week depending on loads and productivity. Load detention and breakdown pay are also available. The posted pay range is $1,400–$1,900 per week. Drivers start within a 3:00 AM–7:00 AM window and are typically out for 5–7 days, depending on loads. Typical shifts are 12–14 hours per day, or 60–70 hours per week. Trimac emphasizes safety, provides paid orientation training, and describes opportunities for advancement, skills development, and additional certifications or licenses.

Requirements

Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
At least 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
Tanker and hazmat endorsements.
TWIC Card.
No driving violation involving consumption of illegal or intoxicating substances in the past 7 years.
No preventable rollover or fatality crash in the past 7 years.
No license suspension involving drugs and/or alcohol, or record indicating disregard for public safety, in the past 3 years.
No major preventable accident in the past 3 years.
No two or more moving convictions in the past 3 years.

Responsibilities
