About The Position

Universal Logistics is seeking skilled Owner/Operator Truck Drivers to join their dynamic team at their Philadelphia, PA area terminal. This role is crucial for the safe and timely delivery of freight, contributing to the company's reputation for quality service. Universal Intermodal services major US Ports and intermodal Rail Ramps, offering domestic door-to-door drayage. They operate from 40 terminals and eight container yards, providing Chassis, Containers, Drayage, and Services for Imports, Exports, and Domestic moves.

Requirements

CDL A
6 months or more of tractor trailer experience
At least 21 years of age
DOT Compliant 2005 or Newer Tractor
Clean driving record with proven safe-driving history
No DUI/OWI in the last 5 years
No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years
No more than 2 preventable accidents in the last 3 years
Pass physical/drug screen
Pass criminal background check

Responsibilities

Safely and timely deliver freight across designated routes.
Operate a tractor-trailer.
Perform light touch freight handling.
