About The Position

As a member of Admiral Beverage’s transportation team, the CDL A OTR Transport Driver helps ensure the safe and efficient handling, storage, and distribution of products. The driver operates tractor-trailer combinations to transport and deliver products in liquid, loose, or packaged form. The position is based in Nampa, Idaho.

Requirements

• Completion of CDL training: 150 classroom hours and 50 on-the-job driving hours.

Nice To Haves

• One year of over-the-road commercial driving experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive a tractor-trailer combination to transport and deliver products in liquid, loose, or packaged form.
• Manage competing priorities.
• Communicate effectively in one-on-one and small-group situations with customers, clients, and other employees.
• Drive safely and courteously to destinations.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain the ELD according to DOT regulations, as required.
• Complete the driver portion of bills of lading and other designated forms and documents.
• Ensure loads are properly positioned and secured.
• Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor.
