With freight handling removed from the driver's responsibilities, the position stays centered on driving, completing regional runs, and keeping loads moving efficiently. Drivers have a straightforward dry van operation with weekly home time and communication from dispatch as they move through the week's scheduled freight. Late-model Peterbilt 579 tractors equipped with driver comfort features for regional driving and dependable weekly miles are provided. Drivers spend the week moving regional dry van loads while working within a schedule built around weekly home time.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Valid DOT Medical Card
- Minimum of 6 months of CDL-A driving experience within the last 12 months
- Safe driving record
- Able to complete orientation
