About The Position

HWY Express is seeking experienced CDL-A truck drivers for a regional, no-touch dry van position. Drivers will operate primarily east of I-35, covering established lanes with predictable dispatch scheduling and advance trip planning. This role offers consistent weekly mileage of 2,500-2,800 miles and a predictable home time schedule, with truck and trailer take-home permitted. The freight is 100% no-touch dry van, with an average haul length of 500 miles, utilizing established customer networks. Drivers will operate newer Peterbilt 579 trucks or select Freightliner and International equipment, all equipped with modern amenities.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• At least 3 months of recent experience within the last 3 years
• Valid DOT medical physical

• Truck and trailer take-home is permitted (drivers responsible for parking arrangements).

Responsibilities

• Operate a CDL-A truck regionally, primarily east of I-35.
• Handle 100% no-touch dry van freight.
• Maintain predictable dispatch schedules and utilize advance trip planning.
• Achieve 2,500-2,800 weekly miles.
• Take advantage of regular freight opportunities throughout the week.
• Participate in a 34-48 hour reset every 7-10 days.
• Maintain visibility into schedules while running established freight networks.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
