About The Position

HWY Express is hiring CDL-A drivers for a dedicated Lowe’s store-delivery account. Drivers deliver no-touch freight on established routes throughout Northern Florida, Eastern Georgia, South Carolina, and Southern North Carolina, returning home every weekend for a 34–48-hour reset. The role pays 77 cents per mile, with weekly earnings of $1,450–$1,650 and $1,000 in orientation pay for completing a two-day class in Nashville, Tennessee. A $100 holiday bonus is available for working required holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, and Labor Day. Drivers operate International LT tractors maintained under three years old, with 71-inch sleeper compartments, APUs, and inverters. Dry van trailers are maintained through Penske, with rental equipment support available during unexpected breakdowns. Secure truck parking is provided at designated terminals. Medical coverage begins after 60 days, with three plan options and prescription hotline assistance. Other offerings include a Health Savings Plan, a 401(k) with dollar-for-dollar company matching up to 4% after one month, and $25,000 in company-provided life insurance. Vacation eligibility begins after one year, and unpaid time off may be available after the initial employment period.

Requirements

Valid CDL-A license.
At least 6 months of recent OTR, regional, or local driving experience.
Experience maintaining electronic logs.
Ability to operate safely, communicate effectively, and complete dedicated store deliveries according to assigned schedules.

Responsibilities

Deliver no-touch freight to dedicated store locations according to assigned schedules.
Drive established routes throughout Northern Florida, Eastern Georgia, South Carolina, and Southern North Carolina.
Operate the assigned tractor and maintain electronic logs.
Operate safely and communicate effectively.
Complete dedicated store deliveries as scheduled.
