About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated CDL-A Driver for a local, home-daily position. This touch freight role involves operating a truck primarily on overnight schedules, requiring nights, weekends, and holidays. Drivers will handle approximately 4 loads per week, covering about 2,000 miles weekly, with dedicated deliveries throughout Virginia (VA) and West Virginia (WV) and backhaul loads returning to Indianapolis. Paid training is provided for using a powered pallet jack.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 months of CDL-A driving experience.
- Must pass a hair follicle drug test.
- Clean MVR.
- No SAP.
- Reliable personal transportation to and from the distribution center each day.
Responsibilities
- Operate a commercial truck for local deliveries and backhauls.
- Perform touch freight duties using a powered pallet jack.
- Complete an average of 4 loads per week.
- Drive approximately 2,000 miles per week.
- Conduct dedicated deliveries throughout Virginia (VA) and West Virginia (WV).
- Complete backhaul loads returning to Indianapolis.
- Adhere to overnight schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
