About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated CDL-A Truck Driver for a local position with home daily benefits. This touch freight role involves operating primarily overnight schedules, requiring nights, weekends, and holidays. Drivers will handle dedicated deliveries throughout Virginia (VA) and West Virginia (WV), with backhaul loads returning to Indianapolis. Paid training is provided for using a powered pallet jack.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 months of CDL-A driving experience.
- Must possess a valid CDL-A.
- Must pass a hair follicle drug test.
- Clean MVR.
- No SAP.
- Reliable personal transportation to and from the distribution center.
Responsibilities
- Operate a commercial truck for local deliveries and backhauls.
- Perform touch freight duties using a powered pallet jack.
- Complete an average of 4 loads per week, covering approximately 2,000 miles weekly.
- Adhere to schedules that include nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ensure safe and timely delivery of goods throughout Virginia and West Virginia.
- Return backhaul loads to Indianapolis.
