About The Position

Carvana is seeking a CDL A Local Truck Driver to join their team. In this role, you will be home daily, transporting vehicles between production facilities and delivery hubs for the safe and timely delivery of customer cars. The position offers competitive pay with a pay-per-mile compensation structure, along with opportunities for additional earnings through bonuses such as night route differentials, quarterly bonuses, and extra day pay. Carvana provides fully paid, top-tier training for safely loading and operating their 9-car haulers, so no prior car-hauling experience is necessary.

Requirements

• Valid CDL driver's license with Med Card
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• 6 months of tractor trailer in last 3 years or equivalent Military experience
• Must be able to walk 75’ and climb a 10’ ladder
• Must be able to bend, kneel, twist, squat, stand and climb as required to secure load
• Requires standing, stretching, walking, stooping, pushing and/or pulling in an outdoor environment
• Requires excellent visual acuity and manual dexterity
• Requires use of safety equipment that may include non-slip shoes, gloves, and other protective garments and equipment
• Requires frequent driving

Responsibilities

• Maintain courteous and professional behavior & appearance
• Loading and securing vehicles on our 9 car haulers
• Following all safety procedures and maintaining driver log
• Transporting vehicles between Carvana locations
• Must adhere to the delivery schedule
• Maintain a clean driving record and Class A CDL
• Ensure the safe and timely delivery of our customer cars
• Communicate with transportation team
