About The Position
Carvana is seeking a CDL A Local Truck Driver to join their team. This position offers home daily routes, predictable schedules with opportunities for pay differentials and bonuses, and a modern fleet. The role involves moving cars between production facilities and delivery hubs for safe and timely customer car delivery. Carvana provides paid training for loading and operating 9-car haulers, even for those without prior car-hauling experience. This is a safety-sensitive position.
Requirements
- Valid CDL driver's license with Med Card
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- 6 months of tractor trailer in last 3 years or equivalent Military experience
- Must be able to walk 75’ and climb a 10’ ladder
- Must be able to bend, kneel, twist, squat, stand and climb as required to secure load
- Requires standing, stretching, walking, stooping, pushing and/or pulling in an outdoor environment
- Requires excellent visual acuity and manual dexterity
- Requires use of safety equipment that may include non-slip shoes, gloves, and other protective garments and equipment
- Requires frequent driving

Responsibilities
- Maintain courteous and professional behavior & appearance
- Loading and securing vehicles on our 9 car haulers
- Following all safety procedures and maintaining driver log
- Transporting vehicles between Carvana locations
- Must adhere to the delivery schedule
- Maintain a clean driving record and Class A CDL
- Ensure the safe and timely delivery of our customer cars
- Communicate with transportation team
