About The Position

Local intermodal container work out of Avenel, NJ. Drivers will perform drop and hook and live load operations, with the guarantee of being home every day. This position is suitable for recent CDL graduates who will receive on-the-job training. Day and night shifts are available.

Requirements

• Class A CDL from your state of residence.
• Must be 21 or older.
• New CDL grad with 120+ school hours, or 6 months of recent experience.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 2 years.
• No DUI/DWI in the past 10 years.
• Must pass DOT physical and hair and urine drug screen.

Nice To Haves

• Drivers within 50 miles of Avenel, including Carteret, Woodbridge, Sewaren, and Rahway.

Responsibilities

• Perform local container moves out of the Avenel yard.
• Conduct drop and hook operations.
• Handle live loads and preloads.
