CDL-A Local Truck Driver – Good Pay + Drop & Hook Freight
About The Position
Drive in a dedicated local intermodal container operation based in the Wilmer/Hutchins, Texas area. Haul containers on chassis throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth region and surrounding areas, within approximately a 250-mile radius. Freight is mostly drop-and-hook, with some live loads, live unloads, and preloaded freight. Drivers use slip-seat day cabs and have daily home time. Day or night shifts are available, with schedules of Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday. Traffic and weather may affect routes and schedules; additional work is available as needed. Reported weekly pay is $1,000–$1,100, with mileage pay of $0.55 per mile and load pay of $29 per load. An additional $20 is listed in the account details, but what it applies to should be confirmed.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- At least 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
- Clean driving record.
- Valid DOT Medical Card.
- Drivers with SAP status are not eligible.
- Ability to safely operate intermodal equipment and secure containers on chassis.
- Ability to work the assigned day or night schedule.
